Bio

Alejandro Yoshii (Mexico) is a multidisciplinary artist based in New York working with sculpture, painting, and performance art. He received his MFA from Parsons The New School for Design in 2014. Yoshii’s work has been exhibited throughout Mexico and the United States including the 5th National Biennial of Visual Arts Yucatan, the 13th Northwest Biennial of Visual Arts, Governors Island Art Fair 2013 and 2014, The Kitchen, Emoa Space gallery, Tenri Cultural Institute, among others. He has been an artist in residence at the Vermont Studio Center, Chashama Workspace Program, and NYFA’s Immigrant Artist Mentoring Program.
